(incorporating H & S, Environmental and Quality Systems)
In addition to the management of health and safety for the branch in Paignton, this role encompasses responsibility for environmental and quality documentation and procedures, and to ensure the full integration of all the systems.
*Oversee, coordinate and monitor the Integrated Management System (IMS).
*Maintenance and update of emergency response procedures.
*Organisation of site-based H & S procedures.
*Liaison, as required, with external enforcement and accreditation bodies, to ensure full compliance.
*Maintaining good working relationships with site managers, safety reps, and quality assurance personnel.
*Accident investigation and reporting, and follow-up activities.
*Provide managers and relevant personnel with information, updates and training.
You will need the minimum of a NEBOSH Certificate, be fully IT literate (including databases), have experience of IMS, and understand continuous improvement processes and techniques. Full familiarity with ISO and BS standards is also required. A diplomatic manner, excellent influencing and negotiating skills and the ability to multi-task and prioritise are essential. A valid driving licence is also necessary.
